Have you ever thought about why the Bible says "pray without ceasing?" Can we really do that? What about where the Bible says, "we have confidence before God, and can receive whatever we ask from Him because we keep His commands and do what is pleasing in His sight?" Does this mean by being a good person I can have a shopping mall if I ask for it? What about when the Bible tells us to "pray in the Spirit?" What does that mean?
We will look together at what the Bible has to say about these and other teachings on prayer. We will embark on an in depth journey into the work of prayer. Specifically, you will learn in depth truths about these and other often used verses on prayer. Our goal is to learn to use this knowledge to seek God for the pulling down of strongholds in our lives and the salvation of some of your lost neighbors. This all begins January 22 and culminates with an evangelistic service on Easter Sunday.
You will be asked to participate in and see the Glory of God in "Praying Your Neighbor to Christ." This is a simple, yet profound way to reach your friends and neighbors for Jesus by simply praying. Be a part of this and see the miraculous works of our Heavenly Father as we pray to Him asking for specific things on behalf of our neighbors.
Sermons will include subjects such as:
"More Features Than You Know"
"Whatever You Ask For! Really? There's an App for That"
"Upgrading Is Easy"
"The Most Reliable Network"
"Are you Gonna Answer That?"
"It's the Most Amazing Prayer Yet!"
"Praying with 1G Speed"
"Avoiding No Coverage Areas"
"Can You Hear Me Now?"
"Are You Gonna Answer That?" |
