Man, what a tear jerker. A dad brought his three small kids to the church early this morning (6:00am) so they could see the firefighters who are staying at the church before they went to work. They had drawn pictures and were so excited to see "a real live fireman." Obviously this dad had portrayed these men as what they really are, heroes.

A couple of days ago one group of firefighters were fighting hard to save a house. They were so close to the flames that the lenses of the headlights on the fire truck melted. They saved the house and no one was injured.

We praise God for these men who are working twelve hours per day fighting the fires. We are very grateful that in this fire not one single firefighter has lost his life.
