Disaster Relief
Southside is very active in providing Disaster Relief in times of emergency and natural disasters. We opened up as an emergency shelter during Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Ike and in the aftermath of the F3 tornado that struck our community on Dec. 23, 2009. Southside houses the Disaster Relief Food Trailer for our area which has provided meals for thousands of people in need during these times of emergency. |
